Mattress platform is made of 100% solid wood slats for extra strength; designed for use with or without a box spring (mattress and box spring are sold separately).
Mattress platform can be positioned at 2 heights: (1) lower height for easy access in and out of bed for young children and (2) higher height to accommodate a trundle for overnight guests or extra storage.
